  • Pressure tactics pushing for immediate payment
  • Unusually low rental offers
  • Communication from non-Communicare email addresses
  • Requests to pay via instant money transfer or to personal accounts

Take action

If you or someone you know encounters suspicious rental activity:

  1. Document all communication.
  2. Report it immediately to our Call Centre (0800 266 737).
  3. Share the information with friends and family to prevent others from falling victim.
